PPT Presentation

 

These are the requirements for the Pre- Civil War Presentation:

 

In your presentation, you are person living in the pre-civil war era.  You may be a slave, a southern plantation owner, a politician, or anyone else living during that time period.

You must create your PowerPoint presentation from the viewpoint and through the eyes of the person you represent.

 

The presentation may be in a form of a digital diary, or magazine.

 

Each  member of the team must create 3-5 slides representing the research from their point of view.   The team must work together to present a complete and thorough presentation of their subject and not a repetition of each others work.  Please make sure to combine your work into ONE FILE.

The last slide of your presentation will cite all of your sources, web sites and written.

 

In your presentation you will need to include the following:

 

  1. 10-15 slides
  2. 1 WordArt
  3. At least 10 visual effects, including:

 

·        chart, graph or diagram or map

·        pictures from the internet photos and clipart

  1.   Animations: (these do not include the pre-made animations from clipart, but animations which you create using the animation toolbar.

     
  2. Hyperlinks- at least 1 link to the internet
    at least one link from one slide to another.

     
  3. Sounds:  1 sound file (*.wav) from the Internet,
                  1 recorded voice file.
                  1 and music file (*.mid or *.mp3)

     
  4. AutoShapes:  at least one filled with a picture.
     
  5. Backgrounds:  one photo background, other colors or patterns.
     
  6. Notes:  Under each slide, in the notes section, you must write a paragraph explaining the slide.  These notes may be used for your oral presentation if you are chosen to present.

  

 The DESIGN of your slides interesting and imaginative.  Use tools such as background colors; fill effects; rotating tools; fonts; to enhance the look of your presentation.  AVOID THE “SQUARE LOOK”.  DO NOT crowd your slides with too much information.
